Keep your $2 bill for a rainy day

Because it should not be spent on spray dressing.

I first purchased this product in my attempt to become a size 0 by June.

I second purchased this product when I realized that the first bottle I bought had been expired for 3 months. Quality control anyone!?

So I returned to Target, determined for people to think I was anorexic, and bought TWO bottles.
I'ma tell you something. You could spray the recommended 10 sprays on your salad, or you could spray 100. This crap ain't gonna taste good no matter what.

So now I find myself in a salad dressing bind, which no one wants to be in. So, if you have any recommendations of where to turn next and still remain on the path to weight righteousness, holla at ya girl!

  1. I've said it before and I'll say it again...make your own. It's TOO easy! Just use dijon mustard, red wine vinegar and EVOO. Or, if you don't want tangy, use balsamic and EVOO. You could spice it up with dried herbs or S&P.

The best dressing I've ever made is:
squeeze the juice of 1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 lime, add several dashes of hot sauce (texas pete or whatever you like) wisk in some EVOO until you have the desired taste. NOTE: you can always add but you can't remove the EVOO - so start w/ just a little. Add S&P to taste.
All of these keep for a week or so if you have a good dressing bottle.

The EVOO has fat but allegedly it's good fat or something - and the store bought dressings sometimes have added sugar and unprouncable ingreeds.

    Chef Nancy, over and out.

  3. EVOO, any kind of vinegar (my faves are rice wine vinegar or champagne vinegar), lemon juice (or OJ). figure out the proportions you think taste best. add a tiny bit of sugar (or splenda) if it's too sour. always taste by dipping lettuce into it or you can't tell what it really tastes like. then end.

  4. oops, meant "the end." "then end" sounds like another step in the dressing making.

  5. Haha, so you didn't mean, then end. As in, now that you've made the perfect dressing, you should just give up because nothing will ever be this good adain?
