What is the deal with all this Cotton pushing that's been going on recently? I turn on my tv, COTTON. I try to watch a Perez video, COTTON. I go to the mall! COTTON pushers in booths!
The thing I don't understand about this advertising is what it is trying to sell. http://www.thefabricofourlives.com/TheFabricOfMyLife/campaignLanding.html. It's not like just because I see these ads I am going to go buy a cotton farm or a bundle of cotton to make my own clothes. Obviously if I am tempted by these ads then I have to go to another store to buy the clothing. Because last time I checked there isn't a cotton store at the mall.
Does anyone else get the point of these ads besides to interrupt our days?? Don't get me wrong, I love cotton, cotton sheets, cotton sweaters, cotton pajamas, etc. But unless you're handing out free shopping sprees, get out of my face cotton. Otherwise I will be forced to take my business to the local polyester store, which also doesn't exist.
