There is nothing that makes me madder than a disgruntled Sandwich Artist. Subway is my safe place. I know what I want everytime, and I get what I want everytime. However, every now and then there exist a Sandwich Artist so rude and grumpy that it's almost not worth the fresh taste and low price.
I spent an entire torturous year at my last job not working near a Subway. Now I have one right next to my office and homegirl behind the counter is copin a major 'tude about the condiments. It's not like I'm stopping her on the side of the road asking her to make me a sandwich. You work at Subway, I want a sub, what's the issue here?! Lots of people don't like their jobs. I don't frown at the keyboard all day just because I have to type too much.
A sub made without love is not a Subway sub at all. If you don't put those extra pickles on my sub with a smile on your face, bad things will happen. Karma is a bitch, especially when it comes to food handling. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,516021,00.html
I can offer some sisterly advice here...kill her with kindness!
ReplyDeleteAt the Subway near my office that we used to frequent they got a new lady to work the end veggies/sauce section and homegirl was NOT an aritst. Well, I take that back. Her eyelids were a work of art w/ new spectacular shades of shadow everyday. But, her sandwich artist skills were seriously lacking. As was her English.
Anywho - I was just super nice to her and thankful and eventually she came around. Stick with it and your sammie (and experience) will be back to perfection in no time!
